The Indian Goddess Durga......at Ranelagh

Over the years the Club has been hired out for many different events but I suspect never to celebrate the Hindi Indian Goddess Durga! Renowned photographer, Julia Fullerton-Batten, went to extraordinary lengths to recreate a Bengali ritual celebrating Durga as part of her latest project 'Old Father Thames' which will be coming out later this year. Xmas party - 8th December

That's it summer's over, hope you all had a good one. Look forward to welcoming all the French and Germans back on the water having taken the best part of 2 months off. As the nights turn darker and winter approaches a date for the diary........Xmas dinner! Yep, it's the one we're all waiting for - fine food (Guillaume puds), fine wine and hopefully some singing, so block your diary out for 8th December.
